Bethany Lutheran School Reviews

Bethany is an excellent school! My children are in high school now, but they often talk about the great memories they have about Bethany. They loved their teachers and when they moved on to public schools, they were so far ahead of their classmates we couldn't believe it! Thank you Bethany for the fantastic things you did for our children.

The student to teacher ratio is wonderful as is the curriculum and discipline taught to each student.

My daughter has been at Bethany Lutheran for seven years and has received an excellent education. This is proven by her state assessment scores in which she has scored above average in most subjects. These test scores have continued to improve over the years. There is something a child receives at Bethany Lutheran that public schools just cannot offer--a quality education AND a Christian education. It is wonderful to see her growing as a Christian and a student. The teachers are awesome and take a genuine interest in her academics as well as in the person she is and is to become.Check Bethany out--you won't regret it.

I have been a volunteer at the school over the past several years. The children are always appreciative and polite. The staff has always been helpful and seems to really care about each and every student. They are also thankful for the extra help. I enjoy volunteering at this school.

We made the decision to pull our child out of public schools after second grade. The decision was made based on an inadequate curriculum and a poor ratio in time spend disciplining rather than teaching. We chose Bethany based on their commitment to education first and the religious values second. After one and a half semesters, our expectations have been exceeded. I am continually surprised at the level of academic activity that my child is participating in. The bottom line is that when I asked my child which school was better, the response was: 'Bethany, because I am challenged, I have to work harder, and I learn more.' What else could you ask for?

Well, I am a current student at Bethany, and I have a lot of good things to tell you about my school. We have an excellent computer class where we are learning how to use all the different microsoft programs and search for informaton on google. We also have two girls basketball teams who play in a christian inviorment with Trinity Lutheran in Winfeild and Saint Paul in Cheney. This year we went to the Kansas State Capitol to page for the house of representatives where we met the govenor, we went to the Extreme Home Makeover building site, and went to the Kansas States Quater Launch. Our school has an awesome PTL who help with the Harvest, Christmas, and Valentines parties. All I can say is I learn so much and have so much fun at Bethany Lutheran School! GO BOBCATS! (Thats our School Team)

My brother went to this school from 2002-2004. Some teachers were very nice and helpful. Others, not so much. I think the school could have done better about the teachers' attitudes. There just didn't seem to be any 'Christian' behaviour going on there... There are much better schools. I have 2 little ones of my own, and they are in Bethel. My K4 daughter can now read 3 & 4 letter words, my first grader is learning about adverbs, etc.

I'm glad I have the opportunity to have my children at Bethany Lutheran School. It makes me feel good to know that Bethany is accredited by the Kansas State Department of Education. There are not many private schools in the Wichita area that are. In todays world, it is so important for children to be in a learning invironment where they not only get the basics, but also get character traing, and can learn values. Thanks Bethany!
