Wichita Kansas Art

KENT THOMAS WILLIAMS is a Kansas-based studio and public space for visual artists inspired by his love of art and passion for art. He is the co-founder and executive director of the Kansas Arts & Culture Foundation, a Kansas-based nonprofit.

Irwin has previously worked on public art initiatives, including at the Kansas Arts & Culture Foundation, Kansas State University and the University of Kansas. He has exhibited his work throughout the country and has served as a curator at the National Museum of American Art in Washington, D.C., and in the U.S. House of Representatives.

He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Southwestern College and studied graphic design at Wichita State University. The Arts Department of Friends University offers a wide range of bachelor and master's programs in the humanities and humanities. Graduating in Art from Friends University enables students to study studio art and graphic design using a variety of methods and technologies.

Friends University art students have taken advantage of the university's location in a busy metropolitan area and have had access to a variety of resources and opportunities in Wichita, Kansas. Kimberles also serves as a mentor to students, faculty, staff and students from across the state of Kansas and beyond.

Downtown Wichita has 31 bronze sculptures created by Washington artist Georgia Gerber that capture the history and daily life of the community. Williams "interest in the place has been a guiding force in his work, and his creative signature is found in numerous projects that meticulously combine sculpture, architecture, and technology to give meaning and joy to a place. Miller was born and raised in Kansas, where he studied and has worked for more than 20 years in Kansas City, Kansas. Indeed, the Public Art Review has classified it as one of the best collections of its kind. He has found a home in Wichita, Kansas, as well as in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Washington, D.C. and elsewhere.
